Is anyone else having processor issues after upgrading to 9.1.2?

Since upgrading to 9.1.2 a few days ago, my processor is maxing out very quickly and with minimal track counts (4 MIDI tracks, 1 audio). Processor hits 98% and the audio glitches out (not in a good way). The program is unusable in this state.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Having similar issues recently! Macbook Pro Retina with Mavericks. Used to be a beast with no issues whatsoever. Just this month tunes that I wrote earlier in the year with no problems are causing serious CPU spikes and choppy audio. VERY LAME.

Same here. I went as far as using an analyzer for dropouts, suggested by an Ableton forum, thinking I would need to disable a network adapter but even then Ableton is so SLOW and non-responsive. I just want to PLAY and this is very frustrating. I am glad it isn't just me.

Well now; I'm still using version 7 with my Macbook Pro, and just recently started having processor issues that causes my live playback to drop out for ~1/2 second burps; not cool when your doing live music with tracks! Thinking about going to an external drive using the lightning port...ideas???

We have been having problems with the scrub head. Just starts going backwards at any given time. Also the CrtlW (close set) does not work anymore.?
Windows7 - Using 64 bit Live. lots of plugins, everything clean. I have never had any problems with live until now, with the newest update 9.1.2. Been using Live since version 3.
I think that all of these problems are caused by ableton software, nothing else.

Same here. Prior to 9.1.2 I could open my default set and have no fan, now the fan kicks in straight away. Definitely using extra resources for something or other…
