How to use Sample Tank with Live Suite

I can't use my Sample Tank plugin on my laptop (Windows 7 - 64 Bit) with the current Ableton Live Suite.

I tried the FAQ on:

But I can't find it in the plugin window. The stand-alone host from IK Multimedia (builder of Sample Tank) the plug in works perfekt.

On my desktop-PC (Windows 7 - 32 Bit) I use the same Live version and the same Sample Tank version. But everything it's ok.

Does somebody know what's to do?

Right click on the Live icon and go to properties > compatibility > and check the Run as administrator option. Make sure Live is looking in the correct folder where the .dll files are for sampletank 2.x.dll, etc.

After that - start Ableton > Prefereces > Path. Check the path to the vst folder. Finally click on "Scan" + Alt-Key on the keyboard.

What you may need to do is run Ableton as administrator, and all outstanding vst's will show up. Worked like a charm for me on Vista 32.
