how to set location of samples when saving racks?

When I have separate adg files with accompanying sample folders I could manually place the samples folder in a particular location under a custom name. When opening the adg file I get the missing files error. At that moment I can point to the custom folder. This method gives the desired result but is very cumbersome. Is there an easier way to accomplish this?

When I save an instrument or drum rack from a live set as a preset (so I can use it in other projects) it's not possible to set the location of the samples. All the accompanying samples are automatically saved in one of the three standard folders (imported, recorded, processed) inside the User library.

After saving many presets this becomes a big pile of unorganized files. When When I delete an instrument/drum rack the samples are not deleted. How can I tell which samples belong to which preset? How can I group those samples by, for example, the preset name or the name of the sample pack the instruments came from?
