    Its the best tool to add some spark and brightness to the sounds and push them forward in the mix.

    Erosion can be "tuned" to the source signal so that it adds an abrasive layer to it. This technique works better on a sound that doesn't have pitch fluctuations.

    ilya.soloviev pointed out a good technique. While DJing or doing live performance with Live, Erosion is also really good for buildups, to add a little extra tension before drops.

    Also adding erosion to some delays can be a pretty nasty, destructive (in a good way) combination.
