Hello Everyone. I am new with Ableton and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to give drums a little more thump? for Hip hop/Rap beats.

Any kind of advice on some basic effects would be great and I can figure it out from their from a creative stand point. Thanks.

    Drums can befit from Compression,EQ,etc
If you got into Audio effects on the browser, check out the Compressor and EQ presets, they are a very good way of starting out

Also there are a lot of pre made audio effect racks for drums.J

Just pick one and drag it onto say your drum rack, the macro controls are mapped to various bits of kit in that preset for you to tweak.
Make sure you have a limiter on your master channel to avoid clipping.
