Getting rid of all the presets in the core library

I just upgraded to Live 9 suite and being quite anal I thought I would really start from scratch this time.

So I've been trying to get rid of all the presets to all the devices, but removing them from the core library removes the device as well, for some reason.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm with you on this idea, however, it is my understanding that Ableton doesn't want you making any changes to the core library. The user library is where we are expected to save all of our presets and organize our stuff. .....I am now wondering if you can move the user library up on the file list and out of "places" to take the place of the core library on the file list in the browser.

I find it difficult and annoying to have to sift through all the Core Library content when using Push. I'd like to:

    1. Set up my own sound categories

    2. Remove all the included presets

    3. Not have all my Instrument Racks grouped into the "Others" category.

    Is any of this possible?

There's a walkthrough here that allows you to relocate them to a subfolder in places.  It means the places tab itself is only 4 items down now!
