Cue out on a Mackie Onyx 400f

Hey guys, I'm trying to set up my interface for the cue out. I'm having a lot of trouble doing so.

I have the main out set to Analog 1-2, and I set my cue out to output Analog 7-8. My problem Is that when I hit cue on a track, I can see the cue output meter jumping with audio, but the audio out of my headphones is the main outs. I checked the interface software, and It allows me to choose the output for "ctrl room/headphones" but I can't select two separate pairs of outputs, just one, for instance, "Analog 1-2"

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Most headphone outs are hardwired to outputs 1-2. Perhaps try changing your main outs to outputs 3-4 and use 1-2 for your cue mix. You should be able to do this all in the preferences window. Hope this helps. I had a mackie satellite interface and this worked for me.
