Did OP fix this? If so share how you did it because there's a bunch of people having this problem. I've got the version of Ableton Live that comes with the Launchpad S (Ableton 9 Live Lite). Even though the samples can be played in the audio browser in Ableton. The samples are AIFF files and when put into one of the audio tracks it says "Complex Warp Mode is not available in this version of Live" the samples i'm trying are from http://launchpad-pro.com/ which heaps of people have used successfully.6 months ago | 1 comment

I have been having the same problem. I go to load a sample from, for example, Finale by Madeon and even though it's an AIFF file it says Complex Warp Mode not available in this version of Ableton. I am running Ableton Live 9 Lite and Ableton Live Lite 8 Novation and Focusrite Edition. Go look at my SoundCloud page. That has been where my exports go. I haven't had this problem before registering Ableton with the LaunchPad serial key.6 months ago | 0 comments

The same happened to me. But I cant add any samples to any scenes on any channel. When this happens it says "Complex warp mode is not available in this version of Live." The application is basically useless right now.2 months ago | 0 comments

I don't understand your question. If it is a sample pack, it will contain plain samples. And samples can be loaded into every version of Live.
Are you sure you are not trying to load packs that contain instruments or fx that you don't have in Your version of Live?
Because samples are never limited to a certain version of Live, and the program never asks for warp modes. In fact, the warp mode is in 'beats' mode as default, so can you explain a bit more?8 months ago | 0 comments

I think I finally found the answer. If you go into the folder in file explorer, delete the samples that have ".aif.asd" at the end. That worked for me. I have the Skrillex pack, so I have a looooot of deleting to do. Good luck everyone.1 month ago | 0 comments
