Nice! SSD with Win7 x64, Live 8 and Plugins are awesome (using it myself).

Good advice. I'd say the r3 case by fractal - quiet and well designed' and I'd say the corsair h70 over air cooling. Plus i'd recommend overclocking

Good advice although I'd say the r3 case by fractal - quiet and well designed, the corsair h70 over air cooling and a corsair hx750 psu. Plus i'd recommend overclocking for these new intel chips.

Regarding a desktop case, I can personally vouch for Fractal Design R2/R3. They're absolutely brilliant for sound proofing and are very affordable.

As for motherboards, if you've got some heritage PCI sound cards to support, such as M-Audio Delta 44's or 1010's, then consider an Intel DH67CL. They look to tick most of the boxes, such as support for an i7 2600K, 32gig ram, three PCI, two PCIe x1 and one PCIe x4. Also note that they support USB3 (2 ports) & Sata 6.0GB/s (2 ports). Currently retailing for around $120, I've spent more on a big night out.

Note that I can't personally vouch for the Intel motherboard, but I'm seriously considering one.
