"click-noise" in Simpler

When I use Simpler and create a midi-clip, sometimes I hear these clip-sounds, I can influence them by changing the envelope parameters, but I do not understand how...

Where does the click-noise come from and how can I eleminate it?

Thanks for any advice...

the click noise usually comes from looping audio.

And if the loop is not perfect, the audio will click, because every time the loop jumps from the end back to the beginning, there is a "jump" in  the waveform.

Several ways to fix this. To name a few:

    - adjust start/end until the click is gone.

    - adjust attack/release

    - adjust volume/fades of the sample before you load it

    - add some reverb: sometimes helps to smooth things out.

    Hope this helps.

It seems like it doesn't click for me if the start/end times aren't changing when the playhead reaches the edges of the clip. If true, this would mean you could vary the start/end times only when the start/end isn't being played.
