Authorization problem

I am authorized for Live 8 on my old computer. I got my new computer going. I downloaded the program live 8. I opened the program Live 8 and clicked on Authorization. I was taken to the site for authorization and the page was shaded an an Interne Explorer box popped up saying 'Internet Explorer has closed'.

*I tried restarting the computer. Didn't help.

    In case your browser does crash on the attempted authorization of Live, please make sure that you have installed the latest version of your browser, including all system updates. 

    If the issue persists, we recommend trying a different browser like Firefox or Chrome. 

    In case you are still experiencing issues after this point, you might try our offline authorization.
