Arpeggio behaviour in Live 9.

Hi,

I upgraded from Live 8 to Live 9 Suite, everything is great except when I opened my tracks made with 8 in 9 all the Arpeggio sections are now different/wrong.

All I did was open the projects in 9 & press play, no settings were altered at all. Any help would be appreciated as I'm stumped!

Thanks for your time, Benn.

Same has happened to me, might have found a way out of it though...  I realized that the arpeggio effect continued to play even after the note was over (because I heard the previous notes still being played on top of the new notes).  So this is what I did:

    1) Select all the midi notes in your clip that are being arpeggiated

    2) Shorten note length slightly so that they are not touching each other

    3) If problem persists, continue to shorten length.

Stupid easy solution, I know, but this will at least stop the arpeggio from playing notes after they finish...

I miss the old arpeggiator, I thought it worked just fine.

Hope this will be fixed soon, thanks for this solution, but it is a shame to edit all midi tracks

Exact same problem here. I've been banging my head against the wall to get the new Arpeggiator to work like the old one did.

    Bug report anyone?

I'm having the problem too and shortening the notes seems to work. I have a feeling they changed something related to how midi is handled and its affecting the arpeggiator??

I suggest that those of you who've run into this problem (presumably everyone using Live 9?) get in touch with support@ableton.com and send them an Ableton Status Report (found under "Help>Get Support..." then attach "Ableton Status Report 2013-xx-xx xxxxxx Live 9.0.x.alp" to an email).

Presumably, the more status reports they get, the quicker they'll be able to find the error.

    Hi,

If you encounter issues that you suspect are bugs, the best way to address is is to contact our Support directly. Please generate and attach a Status Report so we can look into this issue, as outlined in this article:
