Anyone uses Icon Qcon Pro with Ableton?

How can I control plugins for example the EQ8? It seems that I only can turn the single eq bands on and off...

Any ideas?

Thanks

    You have to set up your three extenders as MackieXT and then additional one Mackie Control for the main unit. The order determines which channels are controlled by which unit.

    In my setup I have the XT and then the main unit. Means XT controls the first eight channels and the main unit the next channels.

    The display of the Icon ext won't show the right things unless you use the slightly adapted mackie kontrol script.

    And I use Nuendo mode on the QCon together with the overlay you'll find below.

    remove the '_' and copy the file into Ableton/Contents/App-Resourcres/MIDI Remote Scripts/MackieControl and start Ableton. Now your qcon Ex should show the right things on the display

    This is the overlay I'm using. As I said, select Nuendo on the qcon. Not everything is accessible, but the most important things are there and especially you can step through the plugin parameters

    The small changes in the Mackie Control script solve only a display issue on the QCOn EX unit. I>f your QCon EX units don't show something on the display, this should help you.

    You have to remove the "_" in the filename and simply copy the file into the appropriate folder in your Ableton installation:

    OSX: applications/<Live 9 => show package content>/Contents/App-Resources/MIDI Remote Scripts/MackieControl
    WIN7: C:\ProgramData\Ableton\<Live xxx>\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\MackieControl
    WINXP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ableton\<Live xxx>\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\MackieControl
