ALP installation in live 9 ??

I have purchased an ALP from Prime loops.  When installing in Abelton 9 I am asked to choose a destination. On my mac I have tried Ableton>factory packs and also tried making a separate folder. Both times it installed successfully yet it is nowhere to be found in Ableton 9.

I need clear and simple instruction how to install please.        The only way I can see is by choosing "add folder" under places.   However, I don't see the point of having an alp file because I can add any folder this way alp file or not.

Why is there no information already out there about this? All I can find is instructions for live 8 which is completely different kettle of fish.

    On Windows:

    1. Start Live
    2. Double click the .alp
    3. Live unpacks the .alp (a dialog with a progress bar is shown).
You need to wait for the install to finish before you install another pack.

Repeat 2-3 for each .alp to install.

The installed pack is by default stored at:
    C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Ableton\Factory Packs

You can choose where Live installs the packs here:
Options -> Preferences -> Library -> Installation Folder for Packs
