Ableton Announces Free Version of PowerFX Sample CD with purchase of LIVE 2

Addition of PowerFX Sample CD allows LIVE Users choose from more than 500 MB samples and sounds

Berlin, Germany - Ableton, an innovative Berlin-based music software company, and PowerFX, the premium online sound resource, today announced the enclosure of a specially compiled PowerFX Sample CD with Ableton's LIVE 2 audio software.

The addition of the free PowerFX's Sample CD with over 500 MB free Samples and Loops plus an online account and 10 free Downloads with PowerFX downloadable library will allow LIVE users to perform and improvise with Live even more extensive. LIVE 2 is currently shipping with the PowerFX CD enclosed in the box.

Introduced in 2001 as an audio sequencer to be played like an instrument in live performance, LIVE was quickly embraced by studio musicians and post production professionals because of the swiftness and ease with which they could sketch out musical ideas. LIVE version 2 offers enhancements to the performance and jamming features of the original software and also adds multi-track recording and editing with "Elastic Audio".

Live 2 is currently available online from www.ableton.com and from Ableton dealers worldwide for a MSRP of EUR/USD 399. Upgrades from Live 1.5 are available online for EUR/USD 89 for a boxed version for EUR/USD 69 for an unboxed version.
