Sonica School of Electronic Music

Sonica was founded in 2001. The school specializes in teaching contemporary music techniques, with emphasis on both technological and musical fundamentals. Instructors are highly trained teachers and professional musicians, so Sonica students can expect excellent results.

Ableton Live is used at Sonica in the Electronic Musician Career course, the Producing with Ableton Live course, and on the e-learning platform in three different courses: Ableton Live Level I, Ableton Live Level II and Remixing with Ableton Live.

In the Electronic Musician Career course, Ableton Live plays a very important role as a tool for opening the mind of students in terms of musical expression. Students develop a variety of ideas and soon are immersed in a wide range of electronic music genres, from experimental to more popular electronic music production styles.
