Pyramind

Located in San Francisco's South of Market area, Pyramind: The Institute For Advanced Digital Audio Training, combines real working studios, producers and engineers with three twelve-month, hands-on digital media and music production training programs. Driven by a philosophy of creativity meeting technology, students get experience interacting with industry professionals in both the studio and classroom.

Through Pyramind's unique certificate programs, the "Digital Producer Certificate," the "Electronic Music Producer Certificate," and the "Post-Production Certificate" students learn the most up-to-date software and hardware skills and production techniques for their choice of focus. In his Ableton Live class, instructor Timo Preece focuses on both the studio and live performance applications of Live. Students receive comprehensive training on Live 6's various modes, components, parameters and capabilities as well as learning how these can be used in conjunction with other professional audio applications and third-party tools.
