Institute of Production and Recording Minneapolis

Staffed by award-winning entertainment industry professionals, the mission of the Institute of Production and Recording is to provide the highest standard of education in music production, engineering and recording technologies. Based in Minneapolis, the IPR is currently featuring AAS degrees in Audio Production/Engineering and Entertainment Business, with Pro Tools Certified Operator and Expert Level certifications.

The first Ableton Live class at IPR was launched in 2004 by the instructor, DJ and musician James Patrick Hungelmann. Now students can learn the essentials of Live in a dedicated "Ableton Live I" class (LV150) as well as in the "Audio Production III" and "Electronic Performance" classes.
