Dubspot is New York's first DJ, VJ and electronic music production school. The courses on offer demonstrate a refreshingly creative approach with a strong focus on the needs of the individual learner. Theory is always accompanied by a strong emphasis on hands-on learning. Dubspot's studios employ the very latest technology, the trainers are all experienced professionals and the eight-student classroom environment keeps things intimate.

DubSpot offers several different Ableton Live Courses, including:

• Module II—an exciting 8-week, hands-on module that empowers students to use creative tools and techniques to compose, record, remix, produce and edit using Ableton Live. This course can also be taken as part of the 24-week EMP Full Course Package or DJ/Producer Package. Students learn how to improvise and remix in a playful, performance-oriented way and can take their finished track home with them.
• 2-day 'Weekend Workshops' and a new 'Digital DJing' course utilizing Live.
• Module IV: Advanced Ableton Live 7—Acquire a deeper knowledge of Live's programming power. Make more original sounding tracks by learning how to create sounds from scratch or create your own effects-racks. Use multiple hardware controllers for your performances or DJ sets. Make intricate and innovative beats with Live's unique warping tools and Beatrepeat. Learn how to optimize your mix with EQ 8 and Compressor.
