Dan Freeman (New York City, NY)

Dan Freeman (C0m1x) is a bassist/keyboardist/producer based in Brooklyn. He's lived in NYC for the past 12 years and has been fortunate to work with world-class artists and producers. He's played venues ranging from underground Brooklyn loft parties to Carnegie Hall, and performed nationally and internationally on four continents. He began using Live in 2006 with his current project Comandante Zero, a bass/drum/laptop electro-funk duo that integrates live instruments with laptops running Ableton Live. In 2010, he completed Dubspot's Producer Certificate in Ableton Live.

Dan is currently affiliated with Dubspot in NYC, where he teaches private lessons in music production with Ableton Live. He also specializes in teaching/consulting in the of use of Ableton Live to set up live performers, bands, and other live productions in ways that merge digital and analog instruments to create dynamic, innovative performances.
