Situated in the center of Manchester within Installation House, a creative hub in Manchester's vibrant music scene that's also home to Unity Radio FM and Faze 2 DJ agency, Livetek is at the forefront of creative technology.

The Livetek training team understands that there are a limited number of professional positions in the creative media industries and that a great number of successful projects are produced on home studio set-ups. That insight into the industry gives Livetek its unique training focus. Courses at Livetek are designed and taught to equip students with the skills to work as an industry professional, but with the aim of making the best use of the kind of equipment to which they will have day-to-day access.

Livetek has a close network of associated artists, including Utah Saints, Deadly Avenger, DJ Woody and Atomic Hooligan, who provide guest lectures, tips, tricks and techniques, offering up practical advice and guidance on all aspects of the music scene.

Furthermore, through its events, radio show and forthcoming record label, Livetek provides the perfect platform for students to launch their careers.

Certified Ableton training is available on a bespoke basis, one-on-one or in small group classes, with courses ranging from four hours (intensive) to twelve weeks (pro level), covering all angles of electronic music production, digital DJ and Live performance techniques.
