Under the name Keij he played in clubs and at festivals in Groningen, Amsterdam and Berlin. He has also used Live to compose musical backgrounds for movies and to record voice-overs for commercials. In the meantime, he earned a masters degree (with distinction) in Communication of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Groningen.

To combine his Live skills with the knowledge he gained during his studies, Menno decided to train students in using Live. Together with Peter Versluis, he founded Workshop Delivery in 2008, a mobile school focussing on music and video projects. Equipped with just a car and a set of laptops, he has shared his enthusiasm for Live with thousands of students at elementary & high schools in the Netherlands every year.

During the summer of 2009 Menno attended the Ableton Certification Program at the Ableton headquarters in Berlin. Together with trainer Renier Vreugde, they became the first Ableton Certified Trainers of the Netherlands. In 2011 he started giving in-depth Ableton Live group courses on location under the name Edutones.
