I don't really understand what I'm looking at.

Are you using the sample in Live as the audio you are scratching like you can do in Torq?

What's a monkey god?

Sweet man,
Very cool, looks like you are using Serato. Ive got 2 questions for you:
1) Are you going to make it available to everyone?
2) will it work with standard scratch live box, or is the daddy serato rane mixer required?

I was woundering how long it would take for some smart mushroom to intergate this into ableton.

Well done mate 8)

Ok. I watched the whole video. That character was referred to as "monkey". Was he actually a "monkey god"?

I still don't understand.

What's a monkey god?

Is it a god that appears in the form of a monkey?

Is it something a monkey prays and worships as a god?

If anyone could shed some light on this, I would really appreciate it as I am not familiar with this theological terminology.

Is this concept of a "monkey god" in some way, shape, or form related to the topic of Peter Gabriel's 1982 song entitled "Shock the Monkey"?

Would believers in the monkey deity be offended by Peter Gabriel's song?

Would it be considered inappropriate to refer to a monkey god as funky?

In other words, is the term "Funky Monkey" considered monkey blasphemy?

Chinese is one option, the other one would be Hanuman-Hindu deity of power, wind, including electricity etc. Since at the beginning appears Synth Patel (Patel- popular Gujarati name, in fact also the most popular non Anglosaxon name in UK) that could mean he refers to Hanuman.

I actually grew up with Hippy parents who were into yoga and my step father even lived in India in the 70s in an ashram - when I was about 7 I was given the spiritual name of Hanuman by their swamiji - that is true

but I highly recommend watching at least a couple of episodes of Monkey - both 1 and 2 are on youtube split up and I just watched them - I think it's one of the best shows of the 20th century, very funny but great message too
