Hi.
I try to use bcf2000 in Live. Faders automap to first eight channels. I cannot figure out how to map bcf2000 faders to volume on Live tracks 9 and above. How to move to furher groups of eight channels?

thnx

...bump...

I tried all different things... no luck. BCF2000 faders work fine with volumes on first eight tracks, but I cannot figure out how to move to channels 9-16, 17-24 and so on.

Is Live working with banks at all? Or do I need to set-up manual mapping for channels above ch8?

Maybe I have something set-up wrongly? How should this be working if everything was properly set-up?

what's it doing (or not doing) when you try to map a slider to ch9?
are you using a different bank on the bcf2000?

is live seeing the midi come in when you move the fader on the controller?

Yes, I can map manually to ch9+ (or any other channel), no problem.

Clearly, Live is seeing MIDI coming in and sending it out too - if I move fader on screen, BCF fader moves, and if I move BCF fader, fader on screen moves. All works fine, I just cannot automap to channels abov ch8.

I don't know how to change fader banks to move up beyond ch8. Like in Cubase, for example, you have banks of 8 channels, and you can program two buttons to move up/down through banks of 8 channels, and thus cover all channels. Is there similar thing possible in Live?

afaik there are no fader groups with the instant mapping (automap)

so I think you should use it in mackie emulation instead

supposedly you can even use both simultaneously, but I have not tried that yet
