Live 7.02: Instant mapping & glitches?

I noticed yesterday that if I use the mouse to adjust parameters
(particularly X/Y parameters) on a device that is activated for remote control
(blue hand) while my project is playing back, the CPU load jumps, and the
audio almost trainwrecks. If I move remote focus to a different device, I can
adjust the first one without glitches, using the mouse.

The average reported CPU load is relatively low - 15%. Interface: M-Audio
Audiophile FW. System: Intel QX6700, 2.66 gHz, 2GB RAM, Windows XP Pro.
Buffer size: I've tried everything from 64 (which is what I normally have at this
computer) to 256 - doesn't make a difference. Remote control surface:
BCR2000. The glitches *also* occur when I adjust parameters via my Axiom
61, which is set up as "Axiom Classic".

Hi sporkles, i started a thread some days ago about glitches in L7 when changing parameters through gui elements. It is not about drops outs in relation to midi usage, but maybe you can get something out of it anyways.

Did you try even higher buffer settings? Crank them up to 1024 or what ever is the highest setting of your audio interface.
