UC33e as a mackie emulation - control (nearly) everything!

After much experimentation I've arrived at a solution for using the UC33e with Live.
You can do a great deal with this without touching the mouse.

Its set up as a Mackie emulation for faders, bank up/down, sends A and B, as well as buttons to navigate, fire clips / scenes, change views, set markers etc etc.

Its also set up as a BCR2000 emulation to allow control of the 8 macro rotary controllers in any rack that's got the 'blue hand' focus.

UC33 presets 1 and 3 are used (2 is dedicated to Reason, if you have it) - you can choose them easily by pressing the preset buttons on the top row of your controller.

Its not perfect though, I still don't know how to get the pan controls to work for instance.

If you're unhappy with the limited functionality provided by the UC33 automap feature, give it a go!

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for the reupload! :)

I finally got it last night, still haven't played with my new uc33e, but it looks very nice like I expected.

What I did notice is that under low light at a gig the rotaries position is gonna be hard to noice quickly. Any tips for making them more obvious? I thought of painting the little white triangles on the rotaries with liquid paper or something...?

thanks.

I have a UC-33 (no e) which won't do dumps from enigma. Is this still possible?
