Live and Reason need to agree on common functions!

For future releases of both Live and reason I truly feel that both companies need to agree on common functions within each or they should merge the two and cease from individual features in the transports that do not mirror the other especially in rewire.
For instance:
When multiple time signatures need to be used and or changing set tempos
external control of mixer features in live should also be available in reason
Looping does work in both yet need to address a way to have multiple loop points set in arrange for both programs
Yes if Live adds midi might solve some of this but REALLY feel that the abletons need to spend a day or two with the propellerheads and try to agree on the common functionality of both programs as it seems that they each support one another but need to address this for the users like myself that use both programs on a regular basis.
The difference may seem minor yet to me hampers future development and colloboration with Ableton and the Propellerheads if at least the transports in relation to midi do not match!
