Ok, let's switch it up...instead of my usual Friday-Fanboy-ism, I want to post any rant I can find about Live out on the web. It'll be therapeutic. Hell, it'll be just plain fun to see what the crazies are sayin'

as for the ableton sucks thing, i dont give a shit about that either, im switching off ableton soon. laserdisc baby!!!!!! the way of the future!

really, we need to make it leagal to kill nerds. who gives a shit if this moron couldn't get live to run on his shitty pc? who give a fuck about his worthless opinion? what about the rest of us who paid for our copy of live?

I hate it when they mix up languages...I only get partial context...like eating half a pizza...no fair! :

Automation in Ableton sucks.....je kan maar 7 of 8 parameters aansturen..bagger dus...en dat lijstje herhaald zich steeds hahaha

Now this guy is CLEARLY delusional, since Sonar products have routinely sucked when it comes to VST implementation, whereas Live shines...

I own P5 and Live, and if you review my posts you will see I was really giddy on Live for a while.

In fairness, Live has great warping alrorithms, routing and input quantize. It also records in what we know as "the Matrix", which P5 won't do.

However, as a company Ableton sucks. IMO. As I get older, this means a lot more to me. I'm tired of ignored bug reports, and machine based copy protection.

As slow as Cakewalk is to respond to users for feature enhancements, I still feel loyalty to them because their products are solid, and run VST's that Live can't handle.

Hello,

Well as the title of my thread says, the search engine of this forum is crap. I was looking for a post made a while ago (don't know who the original poster was) on an online hearing test. However, I got a whole load of totally unrelated stuff and still haven't found what I was looking for. Admitedly, I didn't look through every single one of the possible hundreds of posts it could have been. But I did think the subject I was looking for is clear enough not to include things like:

"What software would you buy again if you lost it?", "your opinions on guitar rig", "Obama almost in the lead" etc.....
