Have a look at DubStation by Audio Damage.

Its a great delay effect and not expensive.

whats your budget ?
do you use software or hardware ?

if you really want to get those old skool dub tones....an outboard mixer and a tape delay, or bucket brigade delay is what you should think about...

you could go old school, with a roland space echo from ebay...but if you got some cash to burn you could drop some on a fulltone tube tape echo....I'm not saying it sounds better, but you get the benefit of being able to get new tapes, warranty, servicing etc...

moog make a bucket brigade delay, one of the moogerfoogers over at moogmusic.com ....they're pretty pricey as well....and limited supply...

as for VSTI's, well...I'd go with psp 42/84 from www.pspaudioware.com..

You have to try this one ---->http://www.fabfilter.com/products/timeless.php

I'm trying the demo at the moment, and it's great sounding, flexible with routing and makes nice distorted, dubby delays!

Thought 129€ is not a cheapo, but.......maybe i will buy it

Yeah, timeless is cool, but for some reason, any time i load that into a track in ableton after about 20 minutes i get nasty static out of my speakers that can only be fixed by either turning that particular tracks volume all the way down, or "powering off" timeless in the generic ableton vst gui.

Maybe its just me being a dumb user, i dunno. not meaning to hijack the post. and now back to currently scheduled program already in progress...

+1

I wonder if a good multi-tap dubbish delay could be made from a rack.
