live does not see my digi001 on macosx

i reformated my hard drive and loaded back on:
osx.2.8
protools 6.1
live 2.1.2
digidesign core audio driver
this time live does not see my digi001 as an output. ive set it as my default in audiomidi setup. itunes plays though it. but live and reason dont see it. please help.

i figured it out. i needed to upgrade protools 6.1 to 6.2.
