Hello,

I was using Live 3 with Jaguar and everything was fine. Live 3 needed round about 10 sec. to be up and ready (iBook 800).
Now I upgraded to Panther and it needs way more than 60 sec....
It's hangig while performing the task "Initializing the Application".
I switched back to Live 2.0.3 and this is working like before (10 sec).
Any ideas why Live 3 needs that long in Panther (or in other words : is playing dead and coming back to live after more than a minute) ?

For me, Live starts up as fast under Panther as it does under Jaguar.

Does it make any difference if you trash your preferences? They are at "<Home>/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live 3.0/Preferences.cfg". You may want to rename them instead of deleting them.

Also, can you please mail me the Log.txt file that you is in the same folder? Thanks.

I trashed the preferences and now it needs not even 5 sec. !
