Tempo slows down after action

Hi,
greetings from Switzerland :-)
My problem is the following: After certain actions Live 3.0 does not keep the right tempo. It slows down for more then half the bpm but the bpm field stays on its value. No way to fix this during runtime. I have to close Live and restart again. Then its ok for a while. I had this in version 2.03 as well.
The actions when this is happen are:
- When I click on the close window cross (top right) and then say cancel when the messagebox ask for closing the program (sometimes I hear a crackle from the soundcard when I click)
- When I load one of my Live sets when an other one was loaded before.
- When some samples are missing and I click on cancel (to search for it) in the messagebox.
I'm using WinXP (German) with a RME Hammerfall DSP external soundcard. I'm using Live on stage (not only :-)) and this was happen a few time. Not very amusing.
Does anyone have a clue?
To ableton: Live is a real fine pice of software (got it since 1.0) and I hope you're not going the windows way. Please put your eyes on stability, stability and stability.
Thanks
