Missing Samples in Simpler/Impulse after upgrade to Live 6

Dear All,

After upgrading the Library from Live 5 to Live 6,
some samples that came with the 'Essentials' Live Pack
in Live 5 can be missing in Simpler or Impulse.

We will provide a Live 5 Compatibility Live Pack soon that
contains these samples and can be installed in a
Live 6 Library.

Edit:

The compatibilty pack is available at the URL
http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... bility.zip

After downloading, extract the Live Pack Live5Compatibility.alp
from the zip file and install it in Live 6. This should bring back
the samples fromLive 5's Essentials Pack.

Hi Friedemann,
same here but also a very "funny" effect: I had Live 5.2 on 2 machines, one live rack, one studio daw. On the studio daw i additionally installed most of the betas, all of the daw's have their libraries in a separate "root based" folder.
After upgrading to 6.01 no samples where missing on the studio daw.
After upgrading to 6.01 half of the samples where missing on the live rack.
After searching them i found out, that the studio daw uses .wav's and the live rack searches for .aif's (same preset).
Do i make any mistake here ?

for the dowlnloads of the operator and sampler alps. For all of you, who has trouble with presets. They are now avaible by sector downloads.

hi,

i tried to install impulse essentials over the download site...but though live says is successfull installed...i see no samples in impulse?

have you provided the "new" live packs on the download site yet?

...now i got most of the essentials from the downloading the new version, but somehow i can not see the waveform in the simpler, though i get a sound?

any suggestions?

when y open. clips/lead/aditivo chords 1 ,y can't hear anything when prieviewd.. but y can hear the fender bender a little scroll down/and y installed the pack earlier announced.what ame y doing wrong.......

apart from you guys doing an awesome job, as a paying customer (happens once in while)

I'd love to be informed about issues like that by eMail as you guys know my upgrade path and I don't usually check all of my installed software's forums for bugs and glitches everyday.

Experiencing some problems as well:
Even though I downloaded both live 4 and 5 compatibility packs i'm still missing some samples which i had in live 5. At least Cheap trumpet.aif and FM Piano.aif samples can't be found on my hd. Does anyone know in which pack those were included? I think i have downloaded all the Live 5 packs but they still seem to be missing. Thanks!

same to me again again. all of my simpler and impulse presets sounds are missing in live 6. so i tried to install the live packs (simpler, ...) but still "Sample is Offline"...

I upgrade from Live 5 to Live 6 and NONE of my clips in my library especially ACOUSTIC/ELECTRONIC folders are working.I can never hear the preview as it loads up even tho my headphones icon is on.Some clips I can hear but MOST of them i cant listen to or even listen to in the CLIP SLOT section..Plz help....

if it helps ...there is a n update to 6.03 it might fix the missing clips I just bought a box set and cant locate the beats folder..its just not anywhere to be seen of or heard from..any one else experiemcde somthing like this?

I dLded a Sampler pack but it wants a serial number from I believe purchasing an additional software upgrade to Sampler $$$$?

Iam I seeing this correctly ..no beat clips unless you buy sampler?
