Operator LFO rate?

Hi,

New to this all, so bear with me a second.

I can't seem to find anywhere what the "rate" value corresponds to in the Operator LFO, besides being some arbitrary timing value. I'm modulating the filter only, and I'd like the oscillation to synch with bpm. Is there an easy way to do this?

Have you tried setting the filter envelope mode to "sync" at the bottom left of the filter display? Not exactly the same, but I think you could get similar results.

Hello Ineluki,

just to the right of the waveform drop-down in the LFO section, you have another drop-down menu reading L by default. Set it to S and the LFO will be synced to the tempo.

Kind regards,

Amaury

This still doesn't answer the question of what actual Hz values the 1-127 range corresponds to for the "low" and "high" LFO modes. Obviously the low mode is in normal LFO range and the high mode is pushing into the audible range, but it would really help to know specifically what Hz rates their values represent, for the times when you want to modulate the LFO rate to keep it in time with the beat for some of the time but not have to stay synced to it. Seems like a strange oversight for an otherwise very thoughtfully constructed synth.

Hi,

There's a place you can see the value, in the status bar at the very bottom of the user interface. It's only visible while the mouse pointer is over the rate knob.

best regards,
Amaury

Oh wow, good catch! A little clunky but I guess that'll work. Thanks.
