Kangaroo..? :?

Loops, yes, but only (OK) at beginning of new arr loop.
Jumps, yes, when inside the "loop", not when video loop is finished but arr loop is not.

don't understand a word here... must be tired.. check ! check !
first, sampling rate has to be the same as live's (there's a radio button in plugin interface)
then, when I set a loop anywhere in the arrangement, and set the lopp on, live loops, and the video follows.
then, as Live plays in arrangement and the video plays along wth it, if I clic the upper part of the arrangement, further or before the play position, with the little speaker, live jumps to that location, and the video follows...

Are we talking about the same thing ?

hehe, good night, I'm off.

Hope so.
Try a loop in arr that is far longer then the video takes.
If clicking in the far right gets the video to follow, then we have a difference.
And if the arrangement loop restarts the video when wrapping - it does not here.

PS - I don't know if that is supposed to happen!

G'night.

Yeah, past the end of the video, it looses sync, somehow. I mean, if you're after the video end, the number sync is sending to the video to locate is out of bound and nothing happens....

Again, this plug is not meant to be a super video toy, but for working on composing on films.

I urge people to read the first post in that thread with attention, to know what it does and what it doen't.

Best,
amo

Sooo ? nobody else interested in testing that very little plug ?
It can't do no harm IMO since it's hosted by pluggo !

THANK YOU!

Had I had this already two weeks ago it would have saved me a lot of "one-two-three GO!" type of syncing :D. How great that this thing now exists. I tested it with my latest to-picture project and it seems to work just as it should.

And Ableton, this is exactly the idea for rudimentary video support. A native Live plugin which unobtrusively plays video in sync with the project will be a great addition when you include it. Thank you in advance 8)

Conny, did you get the way that plug works ?
Machinate ?

Cheers people,

amo

amo, it definitely works on my system - thinkpad r40, 512 meg ram.

Surprisingly smooth!

I haven't tested the syncing of the file much, but overall it seems more stable than logic 5.5.1 ;)

Very nice work, man.

ALSO!!! This opens up a really easy way of sampling from video clips - just load them in Live :-D

cool 8)
I'm just surprised no MAX geek has given a shot to that before. I just downloaded the demo and in 4 days time (lots of trial and errors), it worked. But again I'm no programmer nor MAX specialist. I just did quite a bit of maths and liked it :)
Sync is solid on my system... accurate enough for me to work at least...

Cheers mate !
