Present for you guys... control tempo using +,-,*,/ keys

Here's an update to djsyncro's Autohotkey script which allows you to use your numeric keypad to have full control of the master tempo.

Numeric Pad + will increase tempo by 1 bpm
Numeric Pad - will decrease tempo by 1 bpm
Numeric Pad * will increase tempo by 0.1 bpm
Numeric Pad / will decrease tempo by 0.1 bpm

Notebook guys, you may need to turn your "num lock" on to make this work.

but I love my numpad + and - for zooming....
Though you're script is probably more usefull Live, and I don't really need to zoom when performing

since I mainly use Live on a notebook, i had not really taken notice that the +/- keys are for zooming on numeric pads.

i did try using combination keys i.e. alt + ... but when i use single keys instead of combination keys, you can rapidly press or even hold down for quick increment changes, whereas with a combination key (like alt + 7) i had to pres alt+7, then release them both then press both again .. was a bit of a pain .. and i know that many people use the letter keys on their keyboard for their own purposes, and the F1-F12 keys are tied up too...

perhaps the "," "." "/" ";" keys could be users...are there any other keys you could perhaps recommendusing?

I'm not too sure about something really convenient... I never tried if Live makes a difference between numbers on the Numeric Keypad and numbers on top of the keyboard. If yes, you could assign some of the KP numbers. But Won't we always have different people already using different keys ?
As I said, I would personnally use your script in performances, where I seldom or never need to zoom.... But that's me...

I've done something similar to this - but I didn't manage to get it to behave *exactly* how I wanted. I was trying to make a "nudge" hotkey script. (ie - Hold down a key to increase/decrease the tempo by a set amount, release the key to return to normal tempo)

Looks like this isn't needed with the Nudge feature added to 7.

AHK should be required learning for anyone using Live. If you can use AHK and Bomes - Live is your bitch...
