What role does the decoding cache in the preferences provide? I've tried a search and looked through the manul but could not find a solid explanation along with optimal settings.
I am not performing "Live" and utilize the arrangement view most often. Can a proper or incorrect setting contribute to clicks, skips increased latency during play back?
My recent Live 5 install performance has become very sluggish compared to my 4 install, just looking for some answers to smooth it out a little.
