Multi Processor Support?

Is there any plans in future updates to have some real multi processor support? I currently have an AMD X2 yet only end up using a single processor for Live as it does not support 2.

I have heard that multi CPU support is actually very hard to program for music apps but of course in the coming years with 2/4 processors per chip its going to have to happen.

I have an Athlon 64 x2 as well. I'd like to know how high I should set
my expectations for this to happen? :)

Apparently, the graphics and audio thread split already benefits from the
dual cores..

Count me in two (pun intended)

That was really my only hang up with purchasing Live 5. I am so used to Logic 7 Pro on my dual G5...I have never been able to even get one processor to choke with huge sessions and plug-ins, but with Live...I run out of CPU power pretty quickly.

But the creative songwriting process has never been so sweet once I was turned on to Live, so I will live with it.

This would be a huge addition to me as well.

Yep I think we all agree :D

I don't post on here much so I don't know but do Ableton normally post in threads or do they just lurk in the background taking it all in?

It would be good to hear from them if they do have any plans for dualcore support. I'm sure this feature would help to turn more people onto Live.
