presets for automation-curves?
presets for automation-curves?
it would be very helpful to have some presets for drawing the automation-curves like the SINE-curve in CUBASE, or "RAMPs" (up and down) for more accurate line-drawing for example...
any solutions or more ideas therefor?

I agree.. I've drawn HUNDREDS of linear and exponential thinned CC curves in Live by hand!
Bézier curve and CC thinning support would be welcomed here, and is especially helpful for lighting, where fade-up/fade-down brightness is never linear and varies between types of lights, and moving head/scanner pan/tilts are far more natural with non-linear movement. Also, a lot of video effects are far more effective with ease-in/ease-out CCs.
Can't you draw them in Cubase, save as a MIDI file, and open in Live? If you can, I'll buy Cubase just for that!
Also, I think Conny is working on a Plogue Bidule solution where the CCs will be generated instantly on-the-fly, LFO-style.

Generate the cc curve by bidule and record it. Then it's copy paste time. It's a bit tedious, but it can be done.hambone1 wrote:I agree.. I've drawn HUNDREDS of linear and exponential thinned CC curves in Live by hand!
