Is COMPUTO a musician? Or just nut?

Post by Haselmeier » Tue Aug 23, 2005 6:40 am

I believe he is nut!
Just took a view over his posts here in this forum...
...there is nothing about music, nothing about live and nothing about somehting related to this forum.
i guess that he is just a small, frustrated criminal.

LOOOOL!

you just took a view and didnt read anything did you? of course its about music...how would you like to fly over to the U.S. for a gig and get shut down by men with helicopters and guns?

lol its not computo that divised this story...the proof is there that these events did just take place so what exactly are u rambling about? i'd personally like the priveledge of playing live for crowds here in the west(as do others), so wtf are you saying about this being about nothing?

I don't care!
I guess that i will speak for the most people which are interested about the product LIVE and the company ABLETON, that, if it goes on like this, more and more people will leave this forum and look somewhere else for help , ideas and discussion about the main stuff.
So Ableton should run this forum (and spent the money as well) for this kind of political stuff.
I can help myself somewhere else..

Every moderated forum I've seen is both boring and dead. While being full
of moderator asslickers. All the best forums I've ever seen are 100% free
and anything goes.

You couldn't be more wrong and obviously haven't had too much
experience in this area..... People hang here for fun and stress relief.
Questions get asked and the people hanging here answer them. Without
the fun and stress relief there would be no one to answer the questions.

Computo is a musician and writes quite cool stuff....

I believe moderators are a necessary evil. Hell i am one, on another board. But i generally have a pretty hands off approach. I only get involved if there are complaints or if the issue is truly off topic, or spam. In most cases its moving the thread to the appropriate other forum.

This board could definately use a cat herder.

this topic kinda seems to assume that using a big autowarping spreadsheet of loops makes you a musician ....

pretty pathetic that people are getting snobby about this. I thought it was meant to be fun.

If I wanted parents I'd move back home.

The internet is fun because there are these wackos out there!

If moderators come, then there will only be different posts about "Oh that moderator is mean to me" or "Teh fucking moderator is DJRETARD!!".

So deal with it. I don't care for all those political bullshit posts anyways, so I -JUST DONT READ THEM-. If some dude is upset over a video of people breaking the law and getting the beat on, then let him be upset (maybe mock him a bit first though, because hey, this is the internet).

But don't think just because you say "I'm leaving you kids behind, this forum has gone to hell", that it will make one lick of difference because it won't.

Personally, i think this forum is hilarious AND I learn stuff about ableton becuase I am able to click topics that I want to read.

Love,
Tim

this IS a funny thread.

My response is.... yes, I am a musician. Ive performed with Wynton Marsalis, Members of the Wutang Clan, Kenwood Dennard, and Butch Morris (Conduction) to name a few. I have studied with members of the Cleveland Orchestra, LA Philharmonic and Nexus, to name a few.

Please buy my cd, www.computo.us

also while I do use live, a lot, I dont use it exclusively. I also program Max/MSP/Jitter and Csound, I play drumset, and I built an instrument I use live, called the Guitum.

So I guess I'll conclude by saying, what the fuck have YOU done, Haselmeier??

Oh and yes Im nuts. Nuts for freedom.

I hope I didnt come off as bragging, because I was merely trying to defend my honor against a noob.

But thats sweet. Ravi Shankar is the shit.

I was only having a chuckle with ya, note my cunning grammar.
I got that stupid idea from a book subtitled " the world bestselling book by Paul James" or something similar. Essentially he only wrot one book- and of the one he wrote - it was the bestselling ;)

as you may guess - I have been drinking. But Ravi is still the man, he takes forever to get on and off the stage these days though. Anoushka baby, you know I love ya!
