WOW!!! Hey Abes; Some of your competitors have had Groove Templates for over 9 years... What's the deal? When we gonna see this in Live?

although i could be wrong or misinformed but we might have had better midi timing in 1996 aswell
, pre usb interface days, serial ports.. paralell ports, stealth ports ect

Hey Abes. What about this?
maybe you could add a groove extraction feature that would allow the user to analyze a midi or audio file, and then determine the groove of a clip? Then, you could take a straight warped clip and apply the groove template to it!

It would work, but it would also be a lot of work, WAY more work than Cubase requires.
And you couldn't do it Live...

OK - I know Live 6 is coming up and the feature list is already set, but just in case it was forgotten...
