Urgent, Ableton freezing on recording session.

Hello, I'm currently in a recording session with simple instrumental stems, but I'm facing an issue with Ableton freezing.
I can't interact with anything. Unfortunately, there seems to be no backup available from today in the session file's, and I didn't save the session until the beginning of the recording session (a big mistake).
There are no backups in the appdata files either.
The issue started when I attempted to crop an audio file from the voice stems recording.
Should I force Ableton to crash and hope for backup files to appear or still waiting?
My Ableton process is still running smoothly, but I'm unable to interact with anything. The cursor is stuck on the crop files instead of the default cursor, and the track volume is changing very slowly, almost like the track is playing but it's not.
