Big feature request - Offline Processing!

There is 1 feature that would make Live an absolutely blow-em-all-out-of-the-water creative tool... offline processing with VST/AU plugins...

Imagine... right-click on an audio clip in session view, select a plugin, preview the effect & click OK... and then it's bounced & in your set like a flash, ready for more tweaking & peaking...

Equally useful in arrange view, for easy creation of funky edits & fills etc...

There would be very very few things you couldn't do with a couple of mouse clicks if this were implemented...

Please please please give this serious consideration!

I want to make a plugin that send the name (filename) of the selected clip (in session view) to my midi-controller.

Yes...This would be an important feature

But would it be simpler to add "instant rendering" on right-click with all sort of clips (MIDI and audio clips) ???

This feature gets my vote too ... We have Right Click context menus now in Session and Arrange view so we might as well fill it up some useful goodies.

Offline Process History (ala Cubase SX) would be nice too.
