Dutch Ableton Meeting!!!!

Post by JAMM » Mon Jul 18, 2005 9:52 pm

RAAPIE and JAMM want to organize the first Dutch Ableton meeting but ONLY if there are enough people are interested. Nice thing is we want to put YOU on the playlist to make some NOISE so you have to bring your laptop/controllers and show the others your SKILLS! So let us know if you are interested and we start organizing!!!
The location of the meeting will be located in The Hague in the Netherlands

When would that be ? The Hague is not that far for me... could be interesting, depending on when.

Cheers,

We're trying to find a place where we can talk and play. Probably a closed environment close to The Hague (maybe near the beach at Scheveningen).

JAMM and I thought it would be nice to meet other Live users, find out how everyone is using the tool, talk about it, and talk about music and the industry in general.

Firstly we want to find out how many people are interested in our ideas and would come, play live etc. Hopefully we can plan the meeting this year around august/September, something like that.

I'm interested.
I just don't have a laptop to bring. I use Live as a DAW.

JAMM and I decided to make it an event for all sorts of EM musicians, not only people Live-users, like Sasha ;) It would be interesting to see people showing off with Reason 3 or a MPC ... don't matter. But it should have an electronic connection.

I'll bring my drummer, Matthew Harris (he's from Liverpool, the old Beatle-town) and bring my guitar, Vox-amp and wahwah-pedal.

Because the meeting if not purely Live-related I thought I should it on a more independant forum. So I put it on EM411:
