exlusive arm bug

i've mapped some keys of my computer keyboard to track arm buttons, and sometimes they become not exclusive anymore. i can't figure out how exactly, but it seems to happen when i've done some midi mapping previously.

to try it:
- assign some comp keys to arm buttons, then enter midi mapping mode (Ctrl-M).
- change the arming while you're still in midi mapping mode.
- leave this mode (Ctrl-M again)
- the arm buttons are not exclusive anymore.

this happens on sets that have been keyboard-mapped for a long time. as soon as i enter midi mapping, the arm buttons become non-eclusive.

Hi peeddrroo,

yes, we can repdouce this one. For now, the workaround is trying to avoid the arming while in MIDI mapping mode.

I guess we should be able to fix that one but I cannot yet provide a date.

thanks and regards,
Alex

ok, thanks alex

to be a little bit more precise:
the steps were just here to show you how to reproduce the bug easily.
but the same problem happened without changing the arming while in midi learn mode.
sometimes just entering and leaving the midi learn mode would lead to arming un-exclusiveness.

so maybe what you can try is:
map some arm buttons to computer keys
enter then exit midi learn mode (without touching arm buttons)
see if the tracks arm buttons are still exclusive.

looking forward to seeing this bug fixed!
cheers

Hi peeddrroo,
sometimes just entering and leaving the midi learn mode would lead to arming un-exclusiveness.
Good to know. This would be much more nasty because than it can happen much more often. However we will look into and see what we can do.

Alex
