255 Custom Operator Patches. These patches supplement the 145 Factory Presets for a total of 400 Operator Patches! Drums, Synths, FX, Pads, Rhythms, its all here. Covert Operators Volume 1 comes in a .zip that is compressed to under 500KB, once decompressed the patches require only 5MB of disk space

Covert Operators is a FREE download, and does not require Operator to be unlocked in order to use. In the .zip you will find 255 Operator Patches and a readme.txt explaining where to move the patches to on your Mac or PC.

All that is required is a Demo or Licensed version of Live 4.1

Covert Operators Volume 2 will feature several more patches and will be supplemented with custom Operator + Abe FX patches as .als to get more from Operator. Ableton FX will be used in conjunction with Operator to show just how deep Operator can go. Showing only the tip of the iceberg, the rest is up to your imagination!

Enjoy the patches, and stay tuned.... :)

Thank you all so much. I am so behind in my projects that I havent yet finished the operator turorial (and I've had it since day too.) It's really amazing to see where you all have taken it. I just got Tacklebox in the mail yesterday and now this... whoa boy!

Here's a little taste of what's to come.
A new era for sample sharing.
Live 4 gives us the ability to share samples that really don't take much space. The operator in all it's glory.
You can re-sample it, tweak it, mangle it, change patches..... 8O
Just add an audiotrack that records the sound from any source. And you can choose if you want your sample's at 16 or 24 bitrate. Live really doesn't care that much which you prefer. You don't even have to own the operator to use them.

Now here's the funny part. They only take up 10Kb of space (when compressed)
Imagine a CD or DVD full of these.

The sample you can download at the bottom of this post is actually a Live set. Two operators can be played from track 1. Either from a midi / computer keyboard. Or midi clips.
This is a basic rhythmic patch for two operators + effects.
Stay Tuned..........

Thanks guys for the patches, and the demo dual operator song is just awesome! I ought to have known about some of the routing stuff you guys pulled off, but never thought to do it in such an interesting way... brilliant!
