i tried opening that summary and had no luck with the file...is there any other form someone could send it to me in?

also-i was just clued into the ability to have a clip span a certain amount of notes (octave or whatever) by midi keyboard. anyone have any tricks for setting the FCB1010 up for playing clips accross a bunch of notes?

i have a a page setup on my FCB that each preset triggers a note, it would be great if i could use this to pitch control Live too.

Thanks,

Elijah B Torn

Get Bome's MIDI Translator and then map MIDI CC# s to Key Commands, and then, voila, all Live keyboard shortcuts such as "Ctrl+Z" ( undo ) are accessible via the FCB 1010.

"Guest" I emailed you the FCB tutorial. Just put the text in the body of the email...hopefully this is cool with Borg, creator of said doc.

Best Luck!

no problems (at least, afa i'm concerned). the notes you find in the files are all taken from various threads in this forum (so in fact it should be me who has to worry about courtesy... i can't remember who 'contributed' to the files though, sorry. they are the champs).

what's wrong with the zip, elijah?

it could be nice to have a dedicated hardware forum here. this way people can easily find info and thoughts on various soundcards, controllers, hard disks...

also nice: dedicated music forum, vst(i)s, dj, composing...

Borg, I think the file may have come from a mac originally? They don't have .file extensions. Are they .doc files from msword or something?

borg-

dunno what was up with that zip---didnt do anything for me--someone emailed me the info though and i am anticipating the time when i can sit down with my FCB and read through it...till then work!

thanks all,

Elijah
