Hi,

You remember the first APC threads and price discussions there and how Akai's web robots just harvested the responses and then they set their price accordingly?

So, everyone should vote $50, regardless of what they would really pay, ok?

Tough question though, really tough question...

I guess Ableton's robots are just ... human that already decided a target price :)
but it is a real poll. I mean, I'd like to know how all folks would be able to pay.

It is my real question: if I buy Live 7 (to get Live8) it is ... ONLY for official API + Max for Live !
so... I have to wait for information from the Abes!

I honestly expect it to be between $200-$400

Human after all?

I definitely wouldn't like it to be tied to the Suite. I'm scared enough that Operator 8 will be tied to that.

Seriously, about $100-$200, but I think it will be unfortunately more expensive, based on current Max prices, I'll probably buy it anyway and forgo food for a few months.

there currently isn't any evidence that there will be an 'only for live version' there may only be one version to choose

it may actually be the same price as max for all we know. and I honestly would still pay, but I'd be a little upset about it :)

I read that on ... a max forum (so indeed, it isn't official  )
I'll probably buy it (too)
but indeed, if it costs around 500€ ... wow!

yeah, I mean if it costs as much as max I'll be a little freaked out, but then when I think about all the unusual stuff people are gonna make for it and share around I'll be totally into it. I mean, you mean get 1000 awesome toys out of it right? small price to pay when you consider that.

however, if the whole world just tries to sell their max for live plugs then I'm not gonna be so into it.

If it costs as much as MAX regular I just want an Up- and Crossgrade from 4.6 to 5 and from 5 to M4L under $149.

It should cost much less since it will be available to a wider audience. Let Max customers get a Lite version of Live as well :)
