Emmanuel Guillard is a French pianist/keyboardist and composer. Completely self-taught at computing, music theory and instrumental technique, he has been a professional musician for more than twenty years. He plays jazz, soul, gospel, and electronic music and he composes for movies.

Emmanuel discovered Ableton Live in 2005 (version 5) when popular European jazz choreographer Wayne Barbaste asked him to compose and perform on stage for his upcoming creations. He has also produced one album in 2004 (Secret Ways) and since then took part in many projects, most of them with soul/gospel singer Julia Chesnin (www.juliachesnin.com). He currently is working on his own creations, with jazz musicians or contemporary dancers, making different uses of Live and MAXForLIVE. As the founder of his own training center, InTouch Media since 2010, Emmanuel has been teaching Ableton Live in classes ranging from the basics to advanced, for musicians, producers, sound engineers, technicians, etc…
