Live is not recognized as a ReWire slave when using a 64-bit host.

Please be sure you are launching the ReWire applications in the correct order.
Please see our ReWire tutorials:http://www.ableton.com/pages/rewire/home
-
Please be sure that the “Release ASIO driver in background” option in Cubase is disabled (not checked).
-
Please be sure to look at the Input Type chooser in Live to select Reason; make this visible by selecting In/Out from the View menu.
-
With Cubase as ReWire host, Live (and possibly Cubase) freezes.
-
Yes, you can limit ReWire channels in Live by using the Options.txt file:http://www.ableton.com/pages/faq/options_text
-
Be sure that you are using an Aux track in Digital Performer to enable ReWire and that you are launching Digital Performer first. Please see our ReWire tutorial:http://www.ableton.com/pages/rewire/home
-
The error message “Company Support Dir not found” is shown when starting Live. Live may then crash.
-
You must select separate outputs in Live via the Output Channel chooser in the In/Out View and set the ReWire master application to receive the input on separate tracks.
-
The audio hardware is used by the ReWire master, and Live does not have access to the outputs, so it is not possible to pre-listen via a separate audio output when Live is running as ReWire slave.
